It's Easy to be Green with Paperless Billing

Going paperless is convenient, environmentally friendly and now will save you money.

Why should I go paperless?
Switching from paper invoices to electronic invoices will help you streamline your account. After you create an online account, you will be able to access your current and past invoices anytime and anywhere. Also, by going paperless you will avoid a $5.00 fee which applies to each paper invoice mailed to customers. By using your online account, you will allow us and our vendors to use fewer natural resources creating and delivering paper invoices.

How do I sign-up for eInvoice?
If you already have an online account, you can change your preferences so that you receive electronic invoices by either contacting our Customer Care Department at 800-4-WATERS or by following these steps:

1. Visit www.water.com/myaccount and Log In

2. Click My Account, then click Manage eInvoice

3. Select Receive eInvoice Notification and enter your preferred email address for eInvoice notifications

4. You may also select Attach eInvoice PDF during this step to receive your eInvoice via email

5. Click Save Changes

If you do not have an online account, please visit https://www.water.com/selfserve/create-account/ To setup your online account, you will need your customer account number to get started which can be found in the upper left-hand corner of your bill - see image below.

What if I still want to receive paper invoices?
If paper invoices are important to you, please note that you still have the option to receive them; however, you will be charged $5.00 for each paper invoice mailed to you.

How does paperless billing work?
After the end of each billing period, you will receive an email notification letting you know that your invoice is ready for review and payment. A link will be provided for you to login to your online account. Once you are logged in, you will then be able to view and pay your invoice online with a debit or credit card.

Is your website secure?
Yes, we have a number of protections in place to ensure our website and the information that is transmitted via our website are secure.

Will my method of payment change?
No, you can continue to pay your invoice using your current method of payment. You also have the option to pay your invoice online or via automatic recurring payments. Using the same online account used to sign-up for paperless billing, you can quickly and easily pay your invoice with a debit or credit card or by ACH (electronic check). In addition to paying your bill online, you can use your online account to sign-up for automatic recurring payments. Automatic recurring payments are a great way to ensure you never incur a late fee.

What are automatic recurring payments?
You can easily set up automatic recurring credit or debit card payments using our Auto Pay feature. With Auto Pay you no longer need to worry about making payments on time. All you have to do is provide a method of payment and we will take care of the rest. We will notify you via email when your invoice is ready, but you will not need to take any action in order for your payment to be processed. You can cancel Auto Pay at any time by calling us at 800-4-WATERS.

How do I sign-up for AutoPay?
You can sign-up for AutoPay by contacting our Customer Care Department at 800-4-WATERS or through your online account. If you already have an online account, you can update your preferences to AutoPay by following these steps:

1. Visit www.water.com/myaccount and Log In

2. Under the Make a payment section, please click the Sign Up for AutoPay option.

3. You will then see the Manage AutoPay screen and you will need to click the text link that reads Please add a credit card to your account to enable autopay.

4. You will then need to complete all required payment information in the Add a new payment method section.

5. Once all information has been correctly completed, please click Save Changes to confirm. You will then receive a confirmation message that your new payment information has successfully been added to your account.
