Purified Bottled Water

Purified bottled water2 is produced by distillation, deionization, reverse-osmosis or other purification processes and meets the U.S. Pharmacopoeia definition (23rd edition) for purified water. Regardless of the water source, the purification process removes or reduces various impurities to low levels for a crisp, clean taste.2

Spring Bottled Water

Spring water3 comes from an underground formation from which water flows to the earth's surface naturally. To qualify as spring water, it must be collected at the spring or through a borehole tapping the underground formation. Spring water comes from sources inspected and monitored by licensed geologists to ensure quality drinking water.3

Fluoridated Bottled Water

Fluoridated water* has added fluoride, a mineral that may aid in the development of healthy teeth.4 Before adding fluoridated water to your diet, make sure to consult your dentist or healthcare professional. We offer fluoridated water in our artesian water and purified water.

Distilled Bottled Water

Distilled water5 is water that has been purified through the distillation process, which involves heating it to its boiling point to remove possible contaminants that boil off at lower temperatures. The resulting water is ideal for cooking, preparing hot beverages, steam irons, humidifiers and low-sodium diets.

Artesian Bottled Water

Artesian water6 is bottled water from a well tapping a confined aquifer in which the water level stands at the same height above the top of the aquifer.

*Contains up to 1 mg/L added fluoride. Drinking fluoridated water may reduce the risk of tooth decay. Consult your physician or dental professional if using another fluoridated product.

Hard vs. soft water.

Eighty-five percent of the United States has hard water, which means it has high mineral content.7 These minerals, along with other particulates or contaminants, can affect the color, taste or smell of untreated water. Unfortunately, off-taste or cloudy water is not unusual in home or workplace settings.

The answer to these concerns is water filtration. Connected to your existing water supply, water filtration may remove the types of contaminants that cause your home or office water to smell or taste different. Using a filtration system, water is filtered before it's dispensed, so you can enjoy crystal-clear water for drinking and/or making tea, coffee or other beverages.

Primo Water North America® offers under-the-sink, countertop or freestanding filtration solutions for any home or office – small or large – all designed to improve the safety, purity and taste of your water.
